Pictona Generations Tournament
What is “Pictona Generations” about? The Pictona Generations Tournament offers two exciting new formats that are not part of traditional pickleball tournaments. The goal of BOTH new formats is to bring together different generations of pickleballers. The exciting tournament is a two-day doubles competition, held on October 26-27.

All Gold Medal Winning Teams will be entered.
One lucky team will be have their names drawn after the last gold medal match of the day.
Teams do not have to be present to win.

• Round Robin format guarantees a minimum of 4 matches!
• Many top-level matches will be played on the MetroHealth Championship Court with referees,
energetic announcers, and your name on LED scoreboards.
• Gold medal matches will have referees
• Dry-fit tournament shirts included with admission

Pictona, every court is separated by fencing, eliminating the need to chase down runaway
balls or have interference from balls from other courts.

Saturday, the 26th, has mixed doubles (male and female) playing split ages at skill levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+ and
• The split ages are 30/50, 40/60, and 50/70.
• For example: For the 30/50 split, one player is 30 or younger and the partner is 50 or older. Or
in another category, one partner is 50 or under and the other partner is 70 or older. Either
gender partner can be at either of the two ages.
Also on Saturday the 26th, mixed doubles playing combined ages of 60+, 100+ and 130+ for skill leves 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5+
• The two partners have to have a combined age at or above the combined age category.
Sunday, the 27th, is gender doubles (men and women play separately) playing combined ages of 60+, 100+, and 130+ for skill levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+.
• The two partners have to have a combined age at or above the combined age category.
• For example, women’s 4.0, with a combined age of 130 may have one partner at 60 and the
other at 70, or one partner at 50 and the other at 80, or one partner at 70 and the other
partner at 75 (you can exceed the combined age).
Tournament registration fee is $40 until September 29, 2024 and each event fee is $20.
Early bird special: Sign up by September 29, the last day of the Pictona Open by Emerge Insurance Services, and registration is $40. After September 29, registration fee is $60.

Brackets with less than 4 teams registered will be combined with another bracket.
Format: Round robin with playoff in all brackets
Tournament results will be incorporated into DUPR.
Age of player is the player's age on 12/31/2024.
Tournament Pricing:
Early Bird Special: Sign up by September 29th to save $20 on the registration fee.
A Pickleball Brackets Service Fee of $5/event will be added with a maximum of $10 service fee.
Medals: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category
When using Players Needing Partners feature, players are responsible for contacting other players for finding partners.
