The Play it forward- Rally to End ALS will be a round robin tournament including mens and womens doubles and an Open Mixed Division with a Cash Prize! The tournament will take place at the Bmt Tennis Center in Beaumont, Texas. There will be no refunds if you withdraw within 2 weeks of the event.
About ALS:
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, gradually robbing individuals of the ability to walk, talk, eat, and eventually breathe. There is currently no cure for ALS, and the average life expectancy after diagnosis is just two to five years. ALS United is a national network of independent organizations working together to support people living with ALS and their families. Through local care services, advocacy, and cutting-edge research funding, ALS United is committed to improving quality of life, advancing treatments, and ultimately finding a cure. 100% of proceeds from this tournament will go directly to ALS United to help further their mission of ending ALS.
