The Players Courtyard Open is a Pickleball is Life tournament being held Dec 8 - 10, 2023 in Moorestown, NJ. Players Courtyard Pickleball Club is collaborating with Pickleball Is Life to bring this tournament together at their amazing new indoor club with 13 courts, 45’ ceilings, LED lighting, and a separate four-court Training Center for warmups. Men's & Women's singles will be Friday Dec 8, Men's & Women's doubles will be Saturday Dec 9, and Mixed doubles will be Sunday Dec 10. There are skill (2.5 to 4.5) and age (9-49, 50-59, 60+) brackets for all events including a Pro 4.5+ and Senior Pro 4.5+ (50+) bracket with prize money! $65 registration includes a tournament shirt and medals and $9,000+ worth of prizes (paddles, bags, gift certificates and other gear) from our sponsors for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Amateur singles, doubles and mixed doubles skill/age events are $20 each. Pro and Senior Pro singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events are $60 each with $40 going to prize money. We accept Venmo payments @pickleballislife (8299) or pay online using credit card via PayPal.

At Pickleball is Life, LLC tournaments, players can choose a short sleeve shirt, racerback, muscle shirt, long sleeve shirt, or quarter zip. The tournament will be live streamed on YouTube (www.youtube.com/@PickleballisLife). There will be a hospitality desk with free snacks, fruit and water for players. Winners will receive medals and gifts from our sponsors. There will be referees for Pro matches and most amateur medal matches. Tournament results will be submitted to DUPR.

Refunds are available for registration and event fees minus the refund fees described below if canceled before the cancellation deadline of 11/8/23. Refund requests made after that date will be granted minus a $25 processing fee to cover the purchase of shirts, medals, balls, etc. and minus the refund fees described below. Brackets may be combined by age and/or skill at the discretion of the tournament director, however if too few teams are available a refund at any time for registration and event fees will be offered minus the refund fees described below. REFUND FEES NOTE: ALL refunds will minus any PayPal/Venmo processing fees and the PickleballBrackets Software Fee. The PickleballBrackets Software Fee goes to them and is non-refundable as stated at checkout. Refunds will be issued as quickly as possible, but could occur after the conclusion of the tournament. This is an indoor event so there should be no issues due to rain, however if an unforeseen circumstance (flood, power outage, etc.) occurs there are no refunds and the tournament coordinators will do all they can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when an unforeseen circumstance occurs the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if winners may be determined.

The Pro and Senior Pro (50+) brackets will use the additional $40 per player to fund the prize money. Payouts will be 60% going to gold, 25% going to silver and %15 going to bronze. Total prize money depends on the number of players registering for each Pro bracket. Assuming these number of Pro players/teams the payout would be:

20 Singles Players - Total $800, 1st $480, 2nd $200, 3rd $120 (per player)

20 Doubles Teams - Total $1600, 1st $960, 2nd $400, 3rd $240 (per team)
