🏅 EVENT DIVISIONS
Skill-based divisions in:
• 2.5 • 3.0 • 3.5 • 4.0 • Open
• Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed (based on registration)
📊 RATING SYSTEM
• All divisions 3.0 and higher will use DUPR
⚖️ RULES & ELIGIBILITY
• Follows official pickleball rules, but NOT a Pickleball Canada sanctioned event
• Players may play up within 1.0 of their DUPR rating
• Minimum 4 teams required per event
• Events may be merged at the tournament coordinator’s discretion
• Teams playing too far above their level may be moved for competitiveness
🎾 FORMAT & SCORING
🟦 Format A — “3-Game Minimum / Games to 15”
Each team will play a minimum of 3 games to 15 points, win by 2.
Playoffs (quarterfinals and semifinals, if applicable) will also be games to 15, win by 2.
Gold Medal Match will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2.
🟩 Format B — “4-Game Minimum / Games to 11”
Each team will play a minimum of 4 games to 11 points, win by 2.
Only the semifinals and finals will switch to games to 15, win by 2.
Gold Medal Match will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2.
🌟 OPEN DIVISION FORMAT
• Open events will use Format A.
• Open division will then continue into single elimination playoffs (not double elimination)
• Prize money awarded to medalists (20$ from each entry goes into the prize pool for that division)
🔥 MATCH PROCEDURES
• Warm-up: 5 minutes before your first match; 2 minutes before all others
• We will referee as many matches as possible, prioritizing medal matches
💰 ENTRY FEES
• 1 Event: $65 per player
• 2 Events: $95 per player
• 1 Event Open Division: $85 per player ($20 going to the prize pool per entry for that event)
• 2 Event Open Division: $135 per player ($20 going to the prize pool per entry for that event)
(If you do 1 open event and one normal event it will be 115$)
👥 TEAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
• Both players must be registered and paid individually for the team to be confirmed
