2023 Presidents' Day Kauai Pickleball Open

Dates: February 17-20

Event Divisions:

Skill levels: 2.5-3.0, 3.5, 4.0+

Age brackets (based on age as of Dec 31, 2023): 12-54, 55+

Schedule:

Friday: 8 am -10 pm: All Senior (55+) Men's and Women's Doubles; All Men's and Women's Singles (12+)

Saturday: 8 am -10 pm: Men's and Women's Doubles (12-54)

Sunday : 8 am - 10 pm: All Mixed Doubles ( 12-54, 55+)

Monday : 8 am - 10 pm ( possible make up matches)

Times to be posted one day before the event.

Awards:

Medals for top 3 places in each skill level.

Tournament Directors reserve the right to combine age/skill into one group for events with fewer than 4 or less teams/players. We may also reassign a player to the appropriate division if deemed necessary.

The age of the youngest player in a team is used to determine the age group bracket. Player may play down in age and up in skill.

No player may play multiple skill levels or age groups on the same day.

Registration Information:

(This tournament will be capped at 111 players)

Must have a current ID to verify age as needed.

Registration fee = $40 first event, $10 each additional event

Volunteers Needed

If you are able and willing to volunteer, please email Brant at kauaipickleballtournaments@yahoo.com. We need help with setup, check-in, court monitors...general help. Volunteer for (2) shifts and receive breakfast and lunch.

No refunds once registration closes.

Participants that withdraw from the tournament prior to registration closure will be refunded within 5-7 days following the conclusion of the tournament.

We have hard cost expenses in order to create this tournament and we cannot control mother nature. So, in the case of a weather cancelation of specific event('s), we will refund 50% of your registration for that event.

In the case of a complete tournament cancelation due to weather, we will first try to create an alternative date to re-run the tournament, if for some reason you are not able to make the rescheduled dates, we will refund 50% of your registration. Lastly, if we are not able to reschedule the event due to facility limitations, we will refund 50% of your registration fees.
