Come join the fun at Wapato Point Resort located in Manson Washington, nestled along beautiful Lake Chelan, for our 2025 spring "Shake n Bake on the Lake" pb tournament. All events will be round robin format with playoffs. We're also excited to announce that in addition to the Open events, all amateur events will have some prize money too!

We have 8 dedicated pickleball courts and another 6 temporary courts with ample viewing for all players & visitors.

There will be an on-site food truck, a beer & wine garden, music, raffle, and more.

Local lodging providers have partnered with us to offer amazing discounts on accommodations from economy to luxury units, most of which are within walking distance of the tournament courts.

TD may add or combine age/skill groups based on participation

**Ratings:

• Even though DUPR is the only rating listed for public view, we are using DUPR only as a guideline. All rating systems have their pros and cons. Players will self-rate and we will also be using your previous tournament rating (PBR) as our determinant

• Please update your self-rating in your software profile before you register. You may only play up .5 from your self-rating

• If you feel that a player is playing out of their skill, please contact the tournament director. We will then evaluate tournament history and various ratings (including DUPR) to determine if a player/team needs to play at a different skill. Please be aware that this is a manual process and does not happen automatically

Each player is responsible to register and pay –

Early registration - $50 + event fee through Mar 2

Standard registration - $60 + event fee through Apr 13

Late registration $75 + event fee beginning Apr 14

ALL GOLD medalists will earn free registration for Wapato's 2025 fall tournament!

Open/Pro events - $60

Amateur events - $30

Friday - Women's Doubles / Men's Singles

Saturday - Mixed Doubles

Sunday - Men's Doubles / Women's Singles

Format:

ALL Round Robin games/matches are win by 2.

Most Round Robins are 1 to 15 but may change based on the number of players in the event. If an event has 7 or 8 teams, round-robin matches will be 1 to 11 by 2.

Top 4 teams go to the playoff (1st & 2nd seeds to play Gold Match. 3rd & 4th seeds to play Bronze Match.

Must use only paddles approved by USA Pickleball - https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/

No referees. Passive line judges for medal matches on request.

No pets on the Wapato Point Resort grounds!

TD may combine brackets as needed to ensure quality play.

Tournament may close at any time if maximum daily numbers are met (even if some events appear to have openings)

Outdoor Skill/Age tournament on tennis surface

Pickleball Is Great reserves the right to refuse service at anytime.

$15 admin fee for all refunds.

Refund requests need to be made by Apr 23 (close of registration)

Weather refunds are up to 50% refunded for any weather related issues.

6 Pro Events (MD, WD, MXD) for both under 50/50+

$500 Gold team / $300 Silver team / $200 Bronze team
