Venue
The Radiance Wealth Victorian Pickleball Championships 2026 will be held at:
Hume Tennis & Community Centre – 40 outdoor pickleball courts
Players should expect outdoor conditions (sun, wind, heat). Bring sunscreen, hydration, and your game face.

Format of Play
• All events begin with round robin qualification, followed by semi-finals and medal matches.
• Round Robin Scoring:
Pools of up to 5 teams/players – Games to 15, win by 2
Pools of 6 or more – Games to 11, win by 2
• Semi-Finals: 1 game to 15, win by 2
• Medal Matches: Best of 3 games to 11, win by 2
• Skinny Singles Exception: Rally scoring applies.
• All players are guaranteed a minimum of three games per event.

Ball Type
This tournament will use Franklin X-40 balls on all outdoor courts.

DUPR, Skill Levels & Ranking
• DUPR ratings will be used to determine eligible skill brackets.
• For doubles, you must enter at the skill level of the higher-rated partner.
• This is a Pickleball Australia SANCTIONED event.
Players will earn Australian Ranking (AR) points.
• The Global Pickleball Federation Rulebook (2025 Edition) will be used.

Event Merging & Splitting
The Tournament Director may merge or split events where necessary.
• Events with fewer than 4 players/teams will be merged.
• Merge process:
1. Merge within age group first
2. Merge within skill level second
• All affected players will be notified by email.
• Merging events will not trigger refunds unless a player becomes unable to compete.

Waitlist Policy
Singles
Players are automatically placed into the main draw unless the division is full.
Doubles
• You may enter without a partner, but you have 7 days to secure one.
• If your partner has not entered within 7 days, you will be moved to the waitlist.
• Complete teams (both players registered) have priority and will be moved into the main draw first.
• It is each player’s responsibility to secure a partner and ensure they register.

Registration Requirements
To register, players must:
• Have an active Pickleball Australia (PAA) membership
• Create a free Pickleball Brackets profile
• Include contact number, email, and PAA ID in profile
• Ensure their profile is connected to DUPR
• Enter events only in different categories (e.g., Singles, Doubles, Mixed)

Player Conduct
All competitors are expected to:
• Display sportsmanship and respect towards players, referees, and officials
• Follow the GPF Rulebook
• Abide by decisions of referees and tournament staff
• Maintain accurate self-ratings and compete in appropriate divisions
Anyone behaving like they’re auditioning for a reality TV meltdown may be asked to leave.

Director’s Discretion
The Tournament Director reserves the right to:
• Review and adjust player ratings
• Move players/teams between brackets if incorrectly entered
• Modify event start times and schedules
• Merge/split events based on registration numbers
• Alter match formats if required for safety or scheduling
• Change court allocations to maintain smooth event flow
The goal is a fair, safe, well-run championship—even if we need to make some mid-day magic happen.

By entering the tournament, all attendees consent to being photographed or filmed.
Images may be used by Pickleball Australia, PV, NTPC and event sponsors for promotional purposes, including websites and social media.
No additional permissions or payments apply.

Equipment & Safety
• Please bring sun protection, plenty of water, and appropriate footwear.
• First aid will be available onsite.
• Play may be paused or rescheduled in the event of unsafe conditions (heat, storms, emergencies).
