Tournament Description

This tournament is for the benefit of Special Olympics Nevada. The focus of the tournament is fun, friendship, and charity. Net proceeds from this tournament will be donated to Special Olympics Nevada.

The events will be divided into three major age groups (Open: 49 and under, Senior: 50-64, and Senior Plus: 65 and better) and four skill divisions (3.0 and below, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 and above)

Events will be Womens Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Mens Doubles. Mixed Doubles will be played on February 28, 2025. Womens Doubles and Mens Doubles will be played on March 1, 2025.

Minimum bracket size: 4 teams

Maximum bracket size: 12 teams

All brackets will be round robin format with a minimum of 4 games. Bracket details and draws will be posted no later than 5 days prior to the tournament start (although subsequent changes are possible due to late player withdrawals). Changes to the original postings will be announced as soon as possible after they occur, with no changes to players or formats allowed later than 24 hours before the start of a bracket.

Costs

- Tournament registration - $75.00 (Includes first event)

- Additional event - $10.00

- Pickleballbrackets.com service fee - $5.00 per event, $10.00 maximum (nonrefundable)

Refund Policy

Refund requests will be accepted for any reason until close of official registration on February 21, 2024. Refunds are subject to a $10 administration fee.

After close of official registration, refunds will only be available (with a $5 administrative fee) for:

- teams on waitlist who are not cleared to play

- Players seeking partners who do not find a partner prior to the start of the event

- Players whose event is cancelled by the organizer due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances

- Players who register for brackets which do not achieve the minimum required size

Note: Players whose partners cancel on them after the close of registration are not eligible for refunds, but player substitutions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Parking Information

Parking Fee: No Fee

Limited parking is available at the Old Mill Pickleball Complex. Additional parking is allowed on the street alongside the complex, as well as the parking lot across the street from the complex on the West side of the Mesquite Recreation Center. Please do not park in the area directly in front of the Recreation Center, as that parking is reserved for paid members of the facility.
