The Red Deer Pickleball Club presents the Red Deer Open Pickleball Tournament August 11-14. The tournament will include age-based skill level competitions (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0) and will be played outdoors on 20 courts. Events will be double elimination with each match being best 2 out of 3 games to 11 on the “A” side of the draw. On the “B” side of the draw each match will consist of one game to 15. Both “A” and “B” side draws are “win by 2” and players are guaranteed three games. The minimum bracket size will be eight teams and medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each (combined) bracket.

Registration will open May 1, 2022 and closes August 1, 2022. The cost is $60, plus $10 for each event entered. A registration is considered complete when the team is complete, for doubles events both players must register with 5 days of the first player's registration, or the team will move to the waitlist.
