The Reno Pickleball Championships is a competitive, well-organized pickleball tournament designed to give players a quality tournament experience with strong match flow, fair divisions, clear communication, and a fun community atmosphere.

The event will be held at the Reno Tennis Center in Reno, Nevada.

All singles divisions will play Friday evening.
Start Time: 5:00 PM
Check-in closes: 4:45 PM
Saturday, August 29: Doubles
Women’s Doubles
Start Time: 8:00 AM
Check-in closes: 7:45 AM
Men’s Doubles
Start Time: 12:00 PM
Check-in closes: 11:45 AM
Sunday, August 30: Mixed Doubles

Additional start times may be added based on registration numbers, division sizes, and final bracket scheduling.

Skill levels offered:
• 2.5 & Under
• 3.0
• 3.5
• 4.0
• 4.5 & Above
Age splits may be added, adjusted, or combined based on registration numbers. Tournament staff may combine divisions when necessary to create fair, competitive brackets and provide the best possible playing experience.
🏓 Tournament Format & Scoring
All divisions will begin with round-robin or pool play. Results from pool play will determine advancement into medal rounds.
Pool Play Matches
• One game to 15
• Win by 1
Medal Matches
• Gold Medal Match: Best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2
• Bronze Medal Match: One game to 15, win by 2
Advancement to medal rounds is based on pool results.
Tie-breakers will be determined in the following order:
Head-to-head results
Point differential
Head-to-head point differential
Coin flip, if necessary
🍎 Food & Player Hospitality
Food, drinks, and snacks will be provided for players throughout the tournament.
Players are asked to help keep food areas clean and to be respectful of fellow players, volunteers, sponsors, and staff.
🎤 Player Meetings
Player meetings will take place 15 minutes before the start of each division. Attendance is required.
Player meetings will cover:
• Welcome and tournament overview
• Sponsor recognition
• Format and scoring
• Medal round advancement
• Tie-break procedures
• Court assignments
• Score reporting
• Warm-up limits
• Match timing
• Sportsmanship expectations
• Player support and tournament flow
Warm-ups are limited to 5 minutes and will be enforced so divisions stay on schedule.
📋 Court Assignments & Score Reporting
Players must report to assigned courts promptly when matches are called.
Winning teams are responsible for reporting scores immediately after each match to the tournament desk.
💰 Pricing
• Standard Registration Fee: $39 per player
• Late Registration Fee: $44 per player
• Event Fee: $25 per event
The registration fee covers tournament operations, staffing, amenities, and player hospitality. Event fees apply per division entered.
