The Reno Pickleball Spring Classic is a recreational-focused pickleball tournament designed to provide a fun, fair, and well-organized experience for players of all skill levels, while prioritizing player enjoyment, safety, and smooth tournament flow.

The event will be held at the Reno Tennis Center, featuring:
24 outdoor pickleball courts
12 lighted courts for evening play
On-site restrooms

All Singles divisions will play Friday evening.
Start Time: 5:30 PM
Check-in closes: 5:15 PM
Saturday – Doubles
Women’s Doubles

Age splits may be added and/or divisions may be combined if registration numbers require it in order to create fair, competitive divisions and ensure a quality playing experience for all participants.
🏓 TOURNAMENT FORMAT & SCORING
All divisions begin with round-robin or pool play to determine advancement to medal rounds.
Pool Play Matches:
One game to 15 points
Win by 2
Medal Matches (for qualifying teams):
Gold Medal Match: Best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2
Bronze Medal Match: One game to 15, win by 2
Advancement to medal rounds is based on pool results.
Tie-breakers are determined in the following order:
Head-to-head results
Point differential
Head-to-head point differential
Coin flip if necessary
🍎 FOOD & PLAYER HOSPITALITY
Food, drinks, and snacks will be provided for all divisions throughout the tournament.
Please help keep food areas clean and be respectful of fellow players, volunteers, and staff.
🎤 PLAYER MEETINGS
Player meetings will take place 15 minutes prior to the start of each division. Attendance is required.
Meetings will cover:
Welcome and thanks to players, volunteers, and staff
Sponsor recognition
Tournament format and scoring
Advancement and tie-break procedures
Court assignments and score reporting
Warm-up limits and match timing
Sportsmanship expectations and player support
Warm-ups are limited to 5 minutes and will be enforced to keep divisions running on schedule.
📋 COURT ASSIGNMENTS & SCORE REPORTING
Players must report to assigned courts promptly when matches are called.
Winning teams are responsible for reporting scores immediately after each match to the tournament desk or a court monitor.
Court monitors and runners will be available throughout the event to assist with court flow, score reporting, and player needs.
💰 PRICING
• Registration Fee: $39 per player (one-time)
• Event Fee: $25 per event
The registration fee covers tournament operations and amenities.
Event fees apply per division entered.
