A pickleball tournament by and for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, in support of the many ways they help families of children receiving critical pediatric or medical care in the Greater Richmond area.

Come rally with us for a winning cause at the second Shamrock Showdown!

This one-day tournament will be held at the premier Performance Pickleball RVA indoor pickleball facility with Age & Skill Divisions in Men's and Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

Matches will take place on 12 state-of-the-art dedicated indoor pickleball courts. Medals will be awarded to the Top 3 teams/players in each bracket.

Registration closes on Saturday, March 15, 2025 - EXTENDED THRU TUESDAY 3/18!

Registration is $65 per player and includes a free tournament t-shirt, swag bag and one food and drink ticket redeemable at Kitchen RVA during the tournament! Registration also includes the cost of two events and you can choose to play either Men's Doubles & Mixed Doubles or Women's Doubles & Mixed Doubles or just one of any of those events.

Please be sure to indicate your shirt size during the registration process. Late or last-minute registrants may not be guaranteed a t-shirt and/or desired shirt size, so be sure to sign up early!

This is a non-sanctioned tournament, but we will be following USAP 2025 rules.

All Age & Skill brackets will be Round Robin with a Single Elimination bracket round and/or Medal matches to be played immediately following the completion of Round Robin play.

Round Robin matches will be either best 2/3 games to 11 win by 2 or 1 game to 15 win by 2 or 1 game to 11 win by 2.

Gold Medal matches will be best 2/3 games to 11 win by 2. Bronze Medal matches will be either best 2/3 games to 11 win by 2 or 1 game to 15 win by 2.

Age & Skill groups may be combined at the discretion of the Tournament Director to create brackets as needed based on the number of registered teams/players. The Tournament Director also reserves the right to adjust the bracket and match formats as necessary.

No refunds for Cancellations or Withdrawals. Due to the fundraising nature of this event, we are not able to provide refunds after payment has been made. For any extenuating circumstances or situations, please contact the Tournament Director for approval. Thank you for your understanding!

The tournament will be held indoors at the Performance Pickleball RVA pickleball facility so plan to show up for the Showdown, rain, pollen or shine! We will keep everyone posted in case of inclement or severe weather.
