RMHC SHAMROCK SHOWDOWN! Rally for a cause! Turn your new favorite hobby into a way to give back with the Shamrock Showdown Pickleball Tournament hosted by RMHC Richmond. Join us at Performance Pickleball RVA, Richmond’s newest state-of-the-art indoor pickleball facility (8641 Quioccasin Rd, Henrico).

Tournament Info: This fundraiser tournament will be held at the premier <a href="https://ppbrva.com/">Performance Pickleball RVA</a> indoor pickleball facility in Henrico, VA. Matches will take place on 12 state-of-the-art dedicated indoor pickleball courts. Medals will be awarded to the Top 3 teams in each bracket.

Competition Divisions: Men's Doubles Women's Doubles Mixed Doubles

Age Divisions: 49 And Under 50 And Above **Minimum age to participate is 12; please contact us for exceptions

Skill Divisions: Social Beginner/Low Intermediate (2.5-3.0) Competitive Intermediate (3.5) Competitive Advanced (4.0) Competitive Elite (4.5 And Above)

Tournament Date/Time: Friday, March 27, 2026 Men's & Women's Doubles in the Morning Mixed Doubles in the Afternoon/Evening Doors Open at 8:00am for Check-In, Warm-Up and Welcome!

**Full Bracket Schedule & Start Times will be released the week of the tournament.

Additional Information

Rules & Format: This is a non-sanctioned tournament, but we will be following <a href="https://usapickleball.org/docs/rules/USAP-Official-Rulebook.pdf">USAP 2026</a> rules.

All Skill & Age brackets will be Round Robin with a Single Elimination bracket round and/or Medal matches to be played immediately following the completion of Round Robin play.

Round Robin matches will be either best 2/3 games to 11 win by 2 or 1 game to 15 win by 2 or 1 game to 11 win by 2 depending on the size of the bracket and/or pools. Gold Medal matches will be best 2/3 games to 11 win by 2. Bronze Medal matches will be best 2/3 games to 11 win by 2 or 1 game to 15 win by 2.

DUPR Ratings: The rating used for this tournament will be DUPR and match scores and results will be automatically entered into DUPR.

Notice: Skill & Age groups may be combined at the discretion of the Tournament Director to create brackets as needed based on the number of registered teams. The Tournament Director also reserves the right to adjust the bracket and match formats as necessary.

Parking Fee: No Fee

Free onsite parking is available in front of the facility, along the side, and throughout the surrounding shopping center. Designated handicap parking spaces are located near both the front entrance and the side/delivery entrance. A wheelchair-accessible ramp is located at the side/delivery entrance.

Weather

The tournament will be held indoors at Performance Pickleball RVA so plan to showup and showdown, rain or shine! We will keep everyone posted in case of any inclement or severe weather.
