THE ROCK N' ROLL ROUND ROBIN AT THE FOLEY EVENT CENTER IS BACK! BEAT THE HEAT AND PLAY INSIDE WHILE LISTENING TO THE GREATEST CLASSIC ROCK AND SOUL MUSIC OF ALL TIME! THEN GO HANG OUT ON THE BEAUTIFUL GULF COAST! We are thrilled to bring back this wonderful fun event back at the beautiful 18 court Foley Event Center Indoor Facility with a rubberized surface. This year, we have 3 days of events!
Friday: Men's Doubles (All Ages)
Saturday: Mixed Doubles (All Ages)
Sunday: Women's Doubles (All Ages)
Skill Levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0+
Age Groups: 15-34, 35-49, 50-59, 60+,70+
FORMAT AND SANCTIONING
4 Games Guaranteed
All brackets will offer a round robin format
All round robin matches, with the exception of a 3-team bracket, will be one game to 15, win by two points. The pre-medal matches, and medal matches will be one game to 15, win by 2 points.
Playoffs will be a Single Elimination playoff with pre-medal seeding matches.
3 TEAM/PLAYER BRACKET:
If there are three (3) teams in a bracket, the bracket will be a double Round Robin group. Round Robin will be 1 game to 15, win by two points. All three (3) Teams will advance to the playoff stage of the bracket.
4 to 7 TEAM/PLAYER BRACKET:
If there are four (4) to seven (7) teams in a bracket, the bracket will be a singular Round Robin group. The top four teams will advance to the playoff stage of the bracket.
8 OR 9 TEAM BRACKET: Teams of 8 or 9 may be placed in 2 pools with each game 1 to 15. All teams may advance to the Pre-Medal Round.
10+ TEAM/PLAYER BRACKET:
If there are ten (10) or more teams/players in a bracket, the bracket will be split into Round Robin Pools. The top four teams (2 from each pool) will advance to the pre-medal round of the bracket.
FINAL STANDINGS
Calculated by finishing position in the playoff stage. Players that do not advance to the playoff stage of the bracket will be ranked by the following tie breaker system: Rank order in the standings is determined by:
Greatest number of matches won
Head-to-head matches won among the tied players/teams (if applicable)
Point differential of all games played
Head-to-head point differential
Point differential against the next-highest player/team
TEAMS WILL BE AWARDED MEDALS BASED ON THE BRACKET THEY ORIGINALLY REGISTERED FOR BEFORE BEING MERGED. In merged brackets medals will not be based on wins/loses based on specific games at the registered level. All medals will be awarded based on seeding/position in the final bracket standings.
