Saturday, December 5 — Doubles
Tournament play begins at 9:00 AM. Exact start times for each division will be announced after registration closes.
Men’s Doubles
Beginner: Under 3.0
Intermediate: 3.0 to under 3.5
Advanced: 3.5+
Women’s Doubles
Beginner: Under 3.0
Intermediate: 3.0 to under 3.5
Advanced: 3.5+
Sunday, December 6 — Mixed Doubles & Singles
Tournament play begins at 9:00 AM. Exact start times for each division will be announced after registration closes.
Mixed Doubles
Beginner: Under 3.0
Intermediate: 3.0 to under 3.5
Advanced: 3.5+
Singles
Men’s Singles — Open
Women’s Singles — Open
Singles are open divisions with no DUPR rating restriction.
Registration Capacity
Doubles: Maximum 12 teams / 24 players / division
Singles: Maximum 14 players/ event
Registration Fees
Early Bird: $40/person
Regular Registration: $50/person
Second, Third Event: Additional $30/person
Prizes
Cash prizes of up to $200 per division, based on the number of registered players.
Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division.
DUPR
This is a DUPR-rated tournament.
Match results from eligible divisions will be submitted to DUPR.
Tournament Format
Pool round robin followed by playoffs
Minimum 6 games guaranteed
Format may be adjusted depending on the number of registered players
The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine, modify, add or cancel divisions/events based on registration numbers.
Division & Rating Rules
For doubles events:
Players should compete in the division appropriate to their rating.
Players may play up, but may not play down.
If partners have different ratings, the team’s division will be based on the higher-rated partner.
Player eligibility will be based on either their DUPR rating or Rockii club rating, whichever is higher.
Players without a DUPR or Rockii rating may be asked to complete a Rockii rating/evaluation session before the tournament.
Rockii reserves the right to review player ratings and move players or teams to the appropriate division to maintain fair competition.
Scorekeeping
The tournament will be managed through the Pickleball Tournament app.
After registration closes, players will receive an email with instructions on how to join the event, view schedules and track match results during the tournament.
