For Experienced Pickleball Players we are offering the following skill/age events:

Skilled & Age Events: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0

MiLP Style Team Event (Friday)

Gender Doubles (Saturday)

and Mixed Doubles (Sunday).

For Non-Experienced players:

NOVICE TEAM CHALLENGER FUNDRAISER, FRIDAY event option (only for players with little to no experience):

You will gather a team (2 guys/2 girls respectively) and be playing in your own event against other teams that also have little to no experience. A pickleball TEAM EVENT is a type of tournament where groups of players compete against other teams in a series of matches, often involving both gender-specific and mixed-gender games; This is a casual and fun opportunity designed for beginners to participate in the sport of pickleball for the sake of the fundraiser/charity and play against other teams, there will be a round robin format where you will play 2 other teams and top 4 teams advance to a playoff for medals.

Teams are encouraged to dress in uniform and have fun rooting on your team in the games. Prizes given out to best dressed team!

We will have volunteers helping with the games and the rules, just come out and have a fun day of pickleball with us.

Late registration fee will be $100 (after registration closes).

TEAM EVENT:

*Regular Skilled events offered for experienced players 3.0-5.0 Skill levels

**Novice option for absolute beginners to come have fun in a tournament and compete amongst eachother.

FUNFAIR AND FUNDRAISER COMPONENTS AT THE TOURNAMENT:

There will be a funfair opportunity on one of the courts where players can buy tickets to participate in the Safe Harbor pickleball obstacle Course for highest points accrued. A daily grand prize winner will be selected each day of the tournament. There will also be some amazing prizes to be won at the silent auction which will run Fri-Sun and auction will close Sunday at 3pm.

Safe Harbor Support Center is committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect by providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and teens when there are no other alternatives. Safe Harbor Support Center also provides outreach, support, and training to assist families in establishing a safe and stable environment.

Originally a crisis nursery, our agency adapted to the needs of our community and changed our focus to trauma intervention and the prevention of child abuse and neglect through strengthening parenting skills and helping families form healthy, supportive connections to ensure their child’s needs are met.

During the 20+ years we’ve been in business, our organization has received a variety of recognition. In 2004, we were honored to receive the State Social Work Agency of the Year award from the Washington chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.

DUPR:

This tournament WILL NOT be reported to DUPR

***VERY IMPORTANT - PLAYER RATINGS:

• Players will self-rate. All rating systems have their pros and cons. Even though DUPR is the only rating listed for public view, we are using DUPR only as a guideline.

• Please update your self-rating in your software profile before you register. You may only play up .5 from your self-rating

• If you feel that a player is playing out of their skill, please contact the tournament director. We will then evaluate tournament history and various ratings (including DUPR) to determine if a player/team needs to play at a different skill. Please be aware that this is a manual process and does not happen automatically

All player registration cancellations are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.

Withdrawals before Nov 19 2025 will receive a full refund minus a $25 cancellation fee and non-refundable service fee of $5 per event, maximum of $10.

Withdrawals on or after Nov 20 will be non refundable.

If you registered and paid the registration fee and were put on the wait list; you will not be charged the event fee until you are actually moved into the event. If you do not move off the wait list; a refund will be issued at the end of the tournament minus processing fees.

PickleballBrackets service fees ($5/event up to $10 amateur) are NOT refundable.

Refunds will be issued no later than 7- 10 days after the completion of the tournament.
