CALCULATING TEAM DUPR RATINGS:
• Higher-rated teammate comprises 70% of the team rating
• Lower-rated teammate comprises 30% of the team rating
• Calculation Example: ((4.234 × 0.70) = 2.96) + ((4.189 × 0.30) = 1.26) = COMBINED TEAM DUPR = (2.96 + 1.26) = 4.22
This pair would qualify for the 4.0-4.5 rating bracket.
• The top-rated player cannot exceed the division’s maximum rating threshold by more than 0.2.
• DUPR Rating Accuracy: If a player's DUPR Reliability score is under 60, DUPR considers it unverified, and the tournament director reserves the right to reassign the team.
• Teams with combined scores falling outside division parameters may be moved at the director's discretion.
• Unrated competitors may be assigned brackets at the discretion of tournament leadership. An active DUPR profile is still mandatory for score entry.
