Welcome to SCPA 2026 OPEN Pickleball Tournament!! This is a Pickleball Canada SANCTIONED tournament.
Tournament Dates: July 23-26, 2026 (No Rain Out Days)
Location: Sherwood Heights Park Pickleball Courts
Registration Opens: Feb 20th, 2026 @ 8am
Registration Closes: July 16th, 2026 @ 12pm
July 23 - Men/Women Singles & All 60+ MX Doubles Events
July 24 - Men's Doubles
July 25 - MX Doubles
July 26 - Women's Doubles
Details are as follows:
- Entry Fee: $70.00/player plus $10.00 for a second event.
BRACKET FORMATS:
Round-robin format with the top four teams from each division participating in a playoff/medal round.
SCORING:
Events with 6 or less teams - 1st to 15 points for round robin format, win by 2
Events with 7 or more teams - 1st to 11 points for round robin format, win by 2
Medal matches - Gold - Best 2 out of 3 games, to 11 points win by 2. Bronze - 1 game to 15, win by 2
- Age events maybe be modified based on registration numbers and in consideration of registered player ages.
- Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each (combined) bracket.
- Tournament Ball will be the outdoor yellow Franklin X40.
**The tournament director reserves the right to add, combine, modify, or cancel skill levels/events pending registration numbers. Events can also be rescheduled/cancelled as needed pending weather and other outside influences beyond our control (ie. Covid restrictions). This is an outdoor tournament so no refunds will be provided for cancellation beyond our control.**
