Welcome to the inaugural Sea Island Pickleball Slam. The largest barrier island in Georgia’s Golden Isles, St. Simons Island offers a charming selection of shops, breathtaking beaches, fascinating museums, and challenging golf courses. St. Simons Island also hosts unforgettable events and is home to a variety of arenas for outdoor adventure, with plenty of things to do like kayaking, fishing, biking, and tours.

The schedule is as follows:

Saturday, June 8th - Men's & Women's Doubles

Sunday, June 9th - Mixed Doubles

Competition each day may begin as early as 8:00 a.m. Specific start times for each event will be posted and emailed to players approximately one week prior to the event.

Format is Round Robin with medal brackets or matches to follow the round robin.

Skills levels include 2.5,3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+. Age brackets will be split after registration is completed.

A team must play at the skill level of the higher rated player (or higher) and the age group of the younger player. Age is calculated as of 12/31/2024.

You may register and identify your partner or request "Need partner". Selecting that you "need a partner” allows other players to see that you are available to play in the tournament. We do our best to introduce players that need partners, but this selection does not mean that the tournament will find a partner for you. It is still your responsibility to find a partner.

There are no referees. Matches are self-monitored. If a referee is requested, we will do our best to provide one.

Choose accommodations at The Cloister, an elegant Addison Mizner designed Spanish-colonial retreat, or opt for the English country manor essence of The Lodge, any one of approximately 150 privately owned Cottages on Sea Island, and the casual comfort of The Inn by Sea Island on St. Simons Island. Cancellation deadline is 9 p.m. May 15th, 2024. No refunds for any reason after that date.

Cancellations prior to that date are subject to a $15 administration fee. Your spot in the tournament is not guaranteed until your partner has registered and all fees have been paid in full.

This is an outdoor tournament. There are no refunds for weather related cancellations. Players may purchase Tournament Insurance. Tournament insurance covers any weather-related cancellations as well as personal and health related cancelations. If all events are canceled or a player is unable to participate due to health or personal reasons, a player purchasing tournament insurance will be refunded 100 percent of their registration & event fees.

ALL REFUNDS will be sent within 7 days after the tournament is completed.
