Tournament Description
Welcome to the 2nd Annual Pickleball Palooza Tournament. (PPT2) This is a charity event for the South Jersey Avengers sports program, which gives athletes with intellectual and physical disabilities the opportunity to play the game we all love. The South Jersey Avengers is a non-profit organization for athletes competing in the Special Olympics in pickleball, bocce, bowling and cornhole.
All players of every level are welcome to join this tournament. $3000 Open (scores will not be reported to DUPR) and 3.0, 3.5 & 4.0 brackets. There is a minimum of 8 teams for all Open play events. The amount is based on total tournament registration.
VENUE
The tournament will be held at Pickle Juice in Ventnor, NJ (5038 Wellington Ave, 08406) featuring 5 beautiful and dedicated indoor courts. There will be an open area for fans and players for social gatherings to check out our huge silent auction of prizes. No food or drink, except bottled water will be allowed on the playing courts.

Friday, December 4th – Men's & Women’s 3.0 Doubles (any age), Men’s & Women’s Open Doubles (Prize Money; Scores not reported to DUPR)
Saturday, December 5th – Men’s & Women’s Doubles 3.5 & 4.0
Sunday, December 6th – Men’s & Women’s Mixed Doubles 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 & Open (Prize Money; Scores not reported to DUPR)
Times & Schedule subject to change based on total registration.
Limited to 10 teams in 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 - Gender and Mixed
Limited to 12 teams in Open (Prize Money) Gender and Mixed
EVENT FORMAT
In round robin matches, games to 11 or 15 points (based on number of teams), win by 2.
In Gold Medal matches, best 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2.
In Bronze Medal matches, games to 15, win by 2.
Playoffs/Medal Rounds are decided by W/L record, then point differential at the tie breaker.

Only paddles approved for use by USA Pickleball (USAP) or United Pickleball Association of America (UPAA) are allowed at the tournament.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each bracket.
Some events may have different age groups. We reserve the right to combine/adjust age groups of the same skill level based on the number of registered players per event. If a player or team is unable to compete in the newly established event, a refund will be provided minus a $10.00 processing fee,
FEES
Registration fee is $60.00 if registered before November 1st, $70.00 if registered after November 1st. Each additional event is $25.00.
Pickleball Brackets charges a $5 non-refundable fee per event. It is capped at two events.
SHIRTS
Please include your shirt size while registering. The first 150 players are guaranteed a shirt on tournament day.

WAIT LIST
If you are on the waiting list for a specific event, we will not charge you for this specific event. Once you are off the waiting list, we will send you an email to notify you to pay for the event. You have seven days to pay for the event. Otherwise, you will go back to the waiting list. Make sure to pay attention to all emails from us and pay immediately when prompted.
