Sioux Falls Area Pickleball is sponsoring its 3rd tournament of 2025. SFAP Summer Pickleball Smackdown will be held at Huether Family Matchpointe August 15, 16 & 17, 2025.
Events will include divisions 3.0-4.5+ in singles, skinny singles, mixed doubles and gender doubles. In addition, there will be 55+ divisions in gender doubles and mixed doubles. The tournament committee reserves the right to combine events if registration numbers for an event are low.
Players are only allowed 1 event per day. The only exception to this is Friday's schedule. You may play in both 55+ events on Friday. ie: mixed and gender doubles. If you play in both 55+ events on Friday you CANNOT register for singles/skinny singles. If you play in the 55+ events on Friday you can also register for the any age events Saturday and Sunday.
Registration will open July 11, 2025 at 8:00am CST and close August 8, 2025 at 5:00pm CST. You and your partner must have a profile on Pickleballtournaments.com to register. If you previously had a profile on pickleballbrackets.com the two have merged so the same login will work. Both partners must register within 5 days of each other. If one partner doesn't register within 5 days you may be put on a wait list if the division is full.
Early Registration fee is $35 (includes one event). Starting August 1st, registration fee will increase to $50 (includes one event). SIOUX FALLS AREA PICKLEBALL CLUB MEMBERS USE CODE "MEMBER" FOR A $5 DISCOUNT.
Based on registration, the tournament director reserves the right to divide and/or combine brackets and/or move players into the appropriate division based on skill level. If partners skill levels are not equal, players are expected to play the skill level of the higher rated player.
