2026 is a qualifier year for pickleball in the National Senior Games. This tournament will comply with all NSGA 2026 Pickleball rules and regulations. IN ADDITION, A NON-QUALIFYING AGE GROUP BRACKET OF 40-49 HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE TOURNAMENT FOR ALL SKILL LEVEL GROUPS. There will be no overlapping registrations between this non-qualifying age group and the traditional age groups of 50+.
Events will be Men's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Women's Doubles, Men's Singles and Women's Singles.
Ages 50+, medals awarded in 5-year age groups.
Div I - Skill level 4.5/5.0 (DUPR 4.500-5.499)
Div II - Skill level 4.0 (DUPR 4.000-4.499)
Div III - Skill level 3.5 (DUPR 3.500-3.999)
Div IV - Skill level 3.0 and under (DUPR (3.499 and under)
Skill levels retrieved from Pickleballbrackets.com profiles, with DUPR ratings as the priority rating system.
Teams will play in the skill level of the higher-ranked athlete, and the age-group of the younger athlete.
Brackets will be based on Event/Division/Age-group. Minimum size 3 teams, Maximum size 14 teams. If it becomes necessary to combine brackets, this will only be done based on Age-group for two adjacent 5- year age groups. Brackets that do not achieve sufficient size and cannot be combined with an adjacent age group to reach viability will be cancelled and the player registrations in these brackets will be refunded.
Bracket play format will be round-robin for all brackets. Teams will play a minimum of 6 games (including games that might be won due to withdrawal or forfeit of opponents).
