Welcome to the South Frontenac Open, the final outdoor stop for the 2021 Selkirk True North Pickleball Tour. This will be a modified skill/age event. Due to the late date and waning sunlight hours we will be limiting registration to a smaller number than normal. Men's and Women's doubles will be on Saturday and will just be split into the following skill levels - Men's 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+, Women's 3.0,3.5,4.0+. Each event will be limited to 10 teams and will be played in two pools of 5 guaranteeing everyone a minimum of 4 matches. Mixed will be played on Sunday and will have the following events - 3.0, 3.5 19+, 3.5 50+, 4.0 19+, 4.0 50+, 4.5+, these will also be limited to 10 teams, played in two pools of 5 guaranteeing 4 matches. This tournament will be played at 2 great locations close together, Centennial Park in Harrowsmith and Gerald Ball Park in Inverary, each with 6 designated painted courts, 4 permanent nets and 2 temporary nets at each location. We will start at 8:30 and play through the round robins. After the round robins and subsequent semi final matches are played all medal matches will be played at Centennial Park in Harrowsmith starting at approximately 2:30 and we are strongly encouraging everyone to attend and cheer the players on. In lieu of swag we will be bringing a supper for everyone to enjoy on site on the Saturday after the medal matches at Centennial Park that will be included in your registration fee. We will also make the supper available to non participants for a fee to be determined. This should be a great end to the outdoor season. You must have both partners registered and paid in order to hold your spot for this tournament. Games will be to 15 win by 2 with the exception of the medal matches which will be 2 of 3 to 11. The Franklin X40, official ball of the tour will be used. This event will require that all participants be double vaccinated and we will be verifying upon check in.

Refunds available minus a $10 admin fee up to end of day October 13. After that date no refunds for any reason. In the event the tournament is canceled due to weather there will be no refunds. Weather insurance will be available for $20, if you opt for this you will be refunded in full minus the $20, if one of your 2 events is played and the other canceled you would be reimbursed the event fee plus half your registration.
