📍 Venue: Eaton Recreation Centre, WA

Eaton Recreation Centre offers:

- 12 courts for competitive play

- Changerooms & toilet facilities

- On-site café & water fountain

- Convenient parking (Additional parking at Eaton Fair Shopping Centre, just a short walk away)

Registration Details

- Opens: Friday, 10th May 2025 @ 8:00 AM

- Closes: Sunday, 29th June 2025 @ 8:00 PM

🔹 Players may register for one event per day and must meet the following criteria:

✅ WA residents must be PAWA members

✅ Interstate & International players must be PAA members

✅ All players must have a https://pickleballtournaments.com/ login and profile, If you do not have one go to https://pickleballtournaments.com/ and create one ensuring it contains your contact details, email, and PAA ID number.

Entry Fees

💰 Juniors: $30 per player (includes first event); $20 per additional event

💰 Adults: $50 per player (includes first event); $20 per additional event

Game Format & Rules

- Round Robin Matches: 1 game to 15, win by 2

- Advanced Medal Finals: Best out of three games to 11, win by 2 (except for age 70+ and other designated matches, which will be 1 game to 15, win by 2)

- Players are guaranteed a minimum of three games per event

- Medals will be awarded to Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners in each bracket

Tournament Delays & Late Arrivals

⏳ If you experience an unavoidable delay and may miss your match, please contact the Tournament Director immediately. Schedule adjustments may be considered, but your game could result in a forfeit.

⏰ Players who arrive more than 10 minutes late for their scheduled match may face automatic forfeiture.

The Pickleball Australia Association (PAA) maintains an Australia Rankings (AR) system across the country. All "Advanced" events in this tournament will include the initials "AR" in their event title.

Skill Levels & Classification:

Players should carefully select their appropriate skill level. The tournament officials, who are familiar with most players, reserve the right to adjust classifications through consultation if needed.

💠 Novice: <3.0

💠 Intermediate B: 3.0 – 3.49

💠 Intermediate A: 3.5 – 3.99

💠 Advanced: >4.0

🛑 For doubles events, the team's skill level is determined by the highest-rated player on the team.

Tournament Director’s Discretion

To ensure fairness and smooth tournament operations, the Tournament Director reserves the right to:

✅ Review and adjust player ratings if self-ratings do not align with actual ability.

✅ Move players/teams between skill brackets if an incorrect event is entered.

✅ Merge or split brackets based on registration. Any event with fewer than 3 entries will be combined with another event of similar skill/age.

✅ Modify start times to facilitate a seamless schedule.

✅ Adjust events or schedules due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., fire drills, health restrictions, etc.).

Refunds are available up until the close of registration but will incur a $5 service fee.

No refunds will be offered once registration is closed.
