The Sports Mall Pickleball Open Series is a monthly tournament series hosted by the Sports Mall in Salt Lake City. The series is designed to welcome players of all levels while helping grow the competitive pickleball community in Utah.
Tournament Schedule:
Friday Evening: Mixed Doubles & Men’s/Women’s Singles
Saturday Morning: Women’s Doubles & U18 Doubles
Saturday Afternoon: Men’s Doubles
*Specific start times will be determined once registration is closed, based on the number of sign ups.
Men's & Women's Doubles Divisions include:
- Beginner (2.0–3.0)
- Intermediate (3.0–4.0)
- Advanced (4.0+)
Mixed Doubles & Singles Divisions include:
• Intermediate (2.5–3.5)
• Advanced (3.5+)
U18 is a single division for Juniors of all skill levels
Players earn Series’ points at each event based on their result in their respective division. The 16 teams with the most Series’ points will earn a spot in our Championship division for each group (Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles, & Singles). Point totals will also determine seeding of each elimination bracket.
All tournaments will be USA Pickleball sanctioned, and match results will be submitted to DUPR.
