Tournament Description

$ SPORTSPLEX PICKLEBALL $ CHAMPIONSHIPS NEW WINDSOR, NY JULY 7-9

3 Hour Events: Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, Coed Singles, Doubles Divisions-3.0,3.5,4.0,4.5,Open$

***EARLY BIRD DISCOUNTS *** possible $15 saved per event, 2 events $30 saved, 3 events, $45 saved, etc.

$10 off each double skill event for the first 6 people to pay for each event

$10 off each single skill event for the first 3 people to pay for each event

-additional $5 off each skill event when you pay before June 26, 11:55pm

Registration from June 14 to the Deadline- JULY 3 11:55pm

No tournament registration fee- Cost is per event all events are about 3 hours

(3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 events- $35 each person) (Open$ prize money events-$100 each)

You can sign up for 2 different (Group & Format Combo per day, they won’t interfere with each other, for example Men’s Singles 4.0, and Men’s Doubles 4.0

Schedule: Note Open (Prize Money) events starts times are set, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 events will be played between the scheduled times listed below, Exact start times for the 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 events will be updated as the tournament gets closer.

Mixed (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, Open$)- Friday between 5-8pm starts 5, and ends 8pm

Men’s + Women’s Singles, Doubles (3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, Open$)- Saturday between 11am-8pm.

Men’s + Women’s Singles (Open$) 11am-2pm, starts 11am and ends 2pm

Men’s + Women’s Doubles (Open$) 5-8pm

Men’s + Women’s Doubles, Singles (3.0,3.5,4.0,4.5) between 11am and 8pm, exact start time to be updated during registration period, can be found on pickleballbrackets.com

Coed Singles, Doubles (3.0,3.5,4.0,4.5, Open$) Sunday between 11am-8pm

Bracket Formats:

minimum teams for each doubles bracket: 4 teams minimum players for each singles bracket: 4 players

1-3 Teams - Combined with another bracket(s)

4-7 teams - Round Robin with playoffs with game to 11, 15, or 2 out of 3 to 11 win by 2 depending on number of teams

8+ teams - Round Robin format with pools and playoffs

Registration is determined by skill level. For doubles and mixed doubles, you need to sign up at the skill level of the higher rated partner. PickleballBrackets.com ratings are used. If you don't have one you may self rate. Skill levels are determined at the time of the tournament.

The tournament director reserves the right to merge or split events, move players and teams between skill level brackets, and modify event formats as needed depending on the registration numbers. Matches may be moved to a later time during the day in case of rain. We have 5 indoor pickleball courts and 8 outdoor pickleball courts. In the case of rain matches will be moved indoors. If there are a lot of people signed up then some events may be moved to a later time in the case of rain, as a last resort we will use the 8-11pm time slot for each day indoors in the case of rain. If there are no courts available then some events will be canceled (low probability) and you will be refunded the full event fee.

Only Open Divisions are Prize Money Events

Spectators can come and watch for free.

Refund Policy

Event fee will be fully refunded up to June 26, 11:55pm

50% of event fee will be refunded up to July 3, 11:55pm when registration closes. No refunds after J July 3, 11:55pm unless the Tournament Director withdraws you after the deadline from the skill event for there not being enough teams.

Refund Policy continued....The Minimum number of teams in each bracket is 4 teams. After the registration deadline if there are not enough teams, the first step is to combine skill level brackets. So if there are three 3.5 doubles teams and one 3.0 doubles team the events would merge to make 4 teams. If there is no possibility to merge teams and there are only 3 teams the tournament director will ask everyone if they still want to play. If not then you will be refunded the full event fee

Weather refund policy

We have 5 indoor pickleball courts and 8 outdoor pickleball courts. In the case of rain matches will be moved indoors. Prize Money

Prize Money- 55% of the total money collected for each Open Event goes toward that event's prize pool. 1st place gets 70%, 2nd gets 30%, 3rd place gets a medal. If all Open Events are at full capacity the total prize purse for the Open Events would be 9,900 being 55% of the total money collected.
