The Sudbury Park & Recreation Department will host the 2023 Sudbury Spring Slam Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, May 20, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm at Featherland Park, 491 Concord Road, Sudbury, MA. All proceeds will go to the support and expansion of pickleball in the town of Sudbury.

The Sudbury Spring Slam is a recreational tournament designed for novice, intermediate, and advanced intermediate pickleball enthusiasts alike. All are welcome. We will have multiple skill-level events:

Men's, Women's & Mixed 3.0 & Under (Novice)

Men's, Women's & Mixed 3.0 - 3.5 (Intermediate)

Men's, Women's & Mixed 3.5 - 4.0+ (Advanced Intermediate)

Medals for top 3 places in each skill level event

Format:

Four game guarantee

Format for each event will depend upon number of teams registered (scoring, round robin, pools, medal rounds, etc) at will be at the discretion of the tournament directors

APPROXIMATE Start Times:

Men's Doubles (Novice, Intermediate, Advanced-Intermediate): 8:00am - 11:00am

Coed/Open Doubles (Novice, Intermediate, Advanced-Intermediate): 11:00am - 2:30pm

Women's Doubles (Novice, Intermediate, Intermediate-Advanced): 2:30pm - 5:30pm

Refund Policy

No refunds once registration closes (May 3rd, 5:00pm). Participants that withdraw from the tournament prior to registration closure will be refunded within 5-7 days following the conclusion of the tournament. The rain date is Sunday, May 21st. There will be no refunds if participants are unable to play on the rain date.

Registration fee = $60 first event, $10 for second event

Brackets will be merged, if necessary, after May 6th
