- Traditional scoring USAP Rules.
- Net balls on serve = play on (no “lets”)
- Balls to be used: New Franklin X-40s provided
- Teams choose “1 or 2” behind the paddle to determine choice of serve or side.
- Respect opponents' calls. Calling line balls out on purpose can result in “Tournament Director” acting as referee for rest of match upon a teams’ request. Malicious or cheating types of behaviors can result in ban from future tournaments.
- No paddle throwing, inappropriate/offensive language, overly aggressive behavior/unsportsmanlike conduct or it can result in dismissal from tournament and/or ban from future events.
- If you notice yourself or teammate commit kitchen foot fault, it is recommended to be honest about it and call on yourself, but it is ultimately the responsibility of the opponents to call it.

DIRECTOR'S DISCRETION
The tournament director reserves the right to:
- review, and possibly alter the rating of players who self-rate below or above their actual ability.
- move players and teams between skill level brackets if on verification the wrong event has been entered.
- change start times to facilitate smooth running of the tournament
- The tournament director reserves the right to modify the events and/or schedule as needed pending influences beyond our control (ie. Fire drill etc).
The tournament director will merge or split events based on event registration.
Events with less than 4 players/teams will be merged with another event at the discretion of the TD.
The process for the merging of events is:
> Merge within age group first
>Merge within skill level second, if option 1 is not a viable option.
All players affected by a merge, will be notified by email.
WAITLIST:
Doubles: players will automatically be allocated a position in the main draw, UNLESS the event is at capacity. If you enter before the event is at capacity, you have 5 days to secure a partner and have your partner also enter the tournament. After 5 days if your partner fails to enter or you do not secure a partner, you will be moved to the waitlist.
Teams who have both players enter the event, will be prioritized over a player who fails to secure a partner and these teams will be moved to the main draw first.
It is the responsibility of the participant to source a partner and have them enter to secure the teams position.
