PARTNER REPLACEMENT POLICY:
Any registered player losing a partner must replace that partner with an already registered player after registration is closed. The replacement must be in the same skill/age group that you are scheduled to play. Players can play down in age and up in skill. Replacements need to be known and communicated to Robin at rgweaver56@gmail.com by 5pm the day before you are scheduled to play. Replacements can be found on the players needing partners list.
Format
Round Robin format with a maximum of 8 teams per bracket. Each team will play
4 doubles matches. Minimum of 4 matches. Maximum of 5 games per match.
Games will be 1 to 15, Win by 1, Rally Scoring. First Team to
win 3 games is the winner. Should each Team have 2 wins after 4 games there will
be a Tiebreaker. Tiebreaker format will be a Skinny Singles match, one game to
15, win by 1, Rally scoring.
TIEBREAKER MATCHES
Player order will be determined by the team Captain, once a TOTAL of 4 points is
scored, the next two players will rotate into the match and so on until the match
is concluded.
Scores will not be reported to DUPR at this time.

Best of five games, first to win 3 games wins the match.
Women’s Play Format
Team Capt. will need to provide their line-up prior to the start of the match to the referee. This cannot be changed once the match begins.
A team consists of 4 women. Each player must participate in 2 of the 4 games. No two players may play together more than once. The first team to win three games, wins the match. Should the games be tied 2 to 2, the fifth game will result in a tie breaker which will be a skinny singles match.
The team Captains will choose the order of their 4 players and give them to the referee. Each player on each team will rotate every 4 points regardless of who wins the point. The player rotation will not change during the tie breaker game.
Scoring
First 4 games will be 1-15 rally scoring win by 2. The tiebreaker, if needed, will be 1 game to 15 rally scoring win by 1. The winning point can only be won while serving. Teams will change ends at 8 points in every game. In all doubles matches, players will stay in the position they start the game. Whenever a point is scored by the serving team the serve is passed to their teammate.
Only 1 service possession per side out! After each side out, the service will begin with the teams score, even on right, odd on the left.
Injuries
At any point if a player is injured there will be no substitutions allowed. All matches remaining will be recorded as withdraws.
Coaching
Coaching is allowed however not while the ball is live/in play. Any distraction calls that may result in a foul will be up to the referee’s discretion.
Mixed Team Format
Format will be women, team 1, men team 1 followed by mixed team 1 and mixed team 2.
