Entries are now open for the 2024 Tasmanian Masters Games, 18th – 20th October.
Your Games registration provides event medals, along with our Welcome Bag carrying your ID card & lanyard, Hartz Water, and local business vouchers.
Plus you’ll enjoy free entry to the Official Welcome Event Saturday 5th October at Market Place Pavilion Devonport & And Closing Ceremony 12th October – live music, food vendors, with local restaurants, a brewery and gin distillery all on site. The sports fee covers competition costs.

Additional Information
Specific details for Pickleball are listed below:
- Entry Fee: $10/player and $5.00 per event. There is also a software service fee.
- Events will start with round robins and move to elimination - formats for these will be determined once numbers are finalised.
- You can play in more than one event during the tournament (maximum of 3) but the second and third events need to be in a different categories e.g. Mixed Doubles, Doubles or Singles.
- Finals matches will be best out of three games to 11 with a win by 2.
- Players are guaranteed at least two games per event with the likelihood of three games or more.
- Medals will be awarded to gold, silver and bronze winning competitors for each bracket.
The Tournament will be held on the following days;
Friday 18th October 12.00 - 7.00pm Singles
Saturday 19th October 8.00am - 7.00pm Doubles
Sunday 20th October 8.00am - 5.30pm Mixed Doubles
Specific event times will be confirmed one week prior to the event.
The tournament director reserves the right to modify the events and/or schedule and/or combine events as needed. This will be at the Tournament Directors discretion and their decision will be final.
A registration is considered complete when the Team is complete. BOTH players must register for the entry to be complete.
Participants do not need to be a member of Pickleball Tasmania but must have registered through The Masters Games.
Participants are required to enter events at their current skill rating. If you are not rated, consult the self rating guide on the PANSW website.
If you are unavoidably detained and it appears that you will not arrive in time for your game/match, please contact the Tournament Director. We can update you on the schedule and consider options but your game may result in a forfeit.
Players are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsman like manner. An unacceptable behaviour may result in elimination from the tournament. The decision will be made by the referee and will be final.
If you have a partner or friend attending the tournament with you, or if you are not playing in all 3 events, you, or they, may have some time available to help out as a Volunteer. Any help would be much appreciated as this event relies on volunteers to run smoothly.
Food
A canteen and coffee cart will be operational at the venue on all days of the tournament.
