Terrace Pickleball Classic is open to participants aged 18 years and above.

RATINGS:

The rating used to determine event eligibility is your DUPR.

Pickleball Tournaments has removed the old Pickleball brackets rating as an option for tournament play. ALL EVENTS ARE NOW BASED ON YOUR DUPR RATING.

Tournament results will count towards players DUPR rating.

FORMAT:

Round Robin, Playoff, and Medal Round

Round Robin in Pools: 1 game to 15, win by 1

Playoff (not all categories): Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2

Bronze Medal Games: 1 game to 15, win by 2

Gold Medal Games: Best 2 of 3, games to 11, win by 2

ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER AN EVENT

Age: An older player may play in a younger age group. A younger player may not play in an

older age group.

Skill Level: The skill level of players is determined by their DUPR rating as listed in www.pickleballbrackets.com.

Players may play above their DUPR rating but cannot play at a lower level.

A team's status in the tournament is not verified until the 2nd partner registers. Failure of the

2nd partner to register within five (5) days of the 1st player registering will move entrants to the waiting list.

To participate in this tournament, a current membership with Pickleball Canada and a DUPR account are mandatory. All registrations will be processed through Pickleball Brackets (www.pickleballbrackets.com), and registrants must create an account on the Pickleball Brackets website if they don't have one.

The Tournament Director reserves the right to add, combine, modify or cancel events, change start times, or move players to a different event pending registration numbers.

We encourage all pickleball players, no matter what level you play, to find a pickleball partner and sign up, come out and enjoy a competitive round robin tournament against players of the same skill level. This tournament is open to all players, however Terrace Pickleball Club members will have advanced registration starting April 15, 2025.

Players are encouraged to bring:

Sun and eye protection

Lots of water and snacks

A portable chair

A hat or umbrella for personal shade

A Pickleball Brackets fee is automatically added to each registration and must be paid to Pickleball Brackets, regardless of attendance. This fee is non-refundable, even within the refund policy period.

In the event of inclement weather or natural disasters, such as rain or smoke from wildfires, every effort will be made to play the matches. If cancellation occurs, refunds will be issued, minus the non-refundable fee and a $15 administration fee.

Refunds are not available within 7 days of the tournament start date.
