Tournament Details:
Scoring Format: Traditional (Side out) scoring unless time dictates a need to change formats. TD will make final decision
All brackets will consist of a round robin into brackets.
Score Tracking: Pickleball Charleston will record All game scores in DUPR.
Event Combining: Depending on the number of teams:
Events may be combined based on skill level or age to ensure a better playing experience.
Players may enter both gender doubles and mixed brackets as start times will be split. Gender doubles will be played in the morning then followed by mixed. Larger skill brackets will be broken down into smaller age brackets as registrations dictate.
Bracket Formation:
Initial Setup: Teams will first compete in a Round Robin format.
Skill Level Adjustments: Skill levels may be mixed during the Round Robin. After this phase, teams will be split into two separate brackets based on their Round Robin standings.
Separate Brackets: Each bracket will have its own winners and medalists.
Bracket Format:
The specific format for each bracket will be determined based on the number of teams and will be provided a week before the event.
