This year's Connecticut Dinksgiving Showdown features The Big Dill Main Event, which brings a $5,000 first prize to a multi-day clash of top talent.

From first-timers to fire-starters, we’ve got great competition at every level—beginner-friendly tournaments to learn the ropes, plus singles and doubles (men’s, women’s, mixed), along with kids’ and seniors’ events. • Sunday, November 30, 2025
• Total Prize Pool: $7,500
• Top Prize: $5,000 to the winning team
• Format: Single Elimination Tournament
• Direct Entry Available To All Players—Fee: $150 per player
• Only entry option for players with a DUPR >= 5.0 and their partners
Game Format:
• Initial Rounds: One game to 15, win by 2
• Round of 16 and Beyond: Best two of three games
• Medal Matches: Will be officiated
Seeding:
• Bracket seeding will be automatically determined based on combined team DUPR ratings as of November 30th at 8:00 AM
Qualifier Entry:
• Players with a DUPR below 5.0 have the option to pay $150 for direct entry into the elimination bracket or compete in a Qualifying event
• Saturday, November 29, 2025
• Entry Fee: $100 per player
• Format: Round-robin pools of 5 or 6 teams
• Advancement: The top 2 teams from each pool will earn automatic entry into the Main Event at no additional cost
• Prizes: No cash prizes for round-robin play
Qualifier Game Format:
• Pools of 6 teams: Games to 11, win by 2
• Pools of 5 teams: Games to 15, win by 2
