There will be a food van and coffee station on-site offering a delicious selection of home-cooked meals, snacks, and drinks.
Chisholm Shopping Centre is just a 5-minute walk away, with cafés, restaurants, and a licensed club.
Erindale is a 10-minute drive and offers a wide range of additional dining options.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The venue is well serviced by ACTION buses, providing convenient access to and from the area.
PARKING
There is no player parking available at the Pickledome.
Parking is located just a 2-minute walk away across the footbridge at Chisholm Shopping Centre.
REGISTRATION
To register:
Create a free Pickleball Brackets login and profile.
Your profile must include your contact number, email, and PA ID number.
The event is open to all current members of Pickleball Australia (Canberra residents may register through Pickleball ACT).
Membership must be current at the time of the event.
Registration Opens: 6 December at 6:00pm
Registration Closes: 8 March at 6:00pm
FEES
$75 (GST incl.) registration fee — includes entry into one event.
$15 for each additional event entered.
EVENT FORMATS
Qualifying rounds will be round robin, followed by elimination finals.
Pool play scoring will be to 15 or 11 (win by 2). Some matches may be played to 21 (win by 2) if required.
Medal matches will be best of three games to 11 (win by 2).
Players are guaranteed a minimum of three games per event.
Franklin X-26 Indoor Balls (yellow or lime green) will be used.
Note: Players may not wear yellow or green shoes, depending on ball colour selection.
Medals will be awarded for Gold, Silver, and Bronze in each bracket.
PLEASE NOTE
All events will have a team cap (TBC). Wait-listed players may be moved into events as capacity allows.
Early registration is strongly recommended—The Big Chill 2026 is expected to be very popular.
Depending on numbers, playing hours may extend.
Registrations may close early if capacity is reached.
Once registrations close, any event with insufficient numbers will be collapsed and merged.
Affected players will be notified and may choose whether to continue.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to amend events or schedules where necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.
DELAYS
If you are unexpectedly delayed and may not arrive in time for your match, please contact the Tournament Director via “Contact Tourney” on the registration page.
Where possible, the schedule may be adjusted; however, flexibility is limited.
Players arriving more than 10 minutes late may be required to forfeit their match.
TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR’S DISCRETION
The Tournament Director may:
Review and adjust player ratings if self-ratings differ from demonstrated ability.
Move players or teams between brackets if an incorrect event has been entered.
Merge or split brackets based on entry numbers (events with fewer than 4 entries will be merged with the closest appropriate bracket).
Adjust start times to ensure smooth tournament operation.
Modify events or schedules as needed due to unforeseen circumstances.
