Overview:
The Capilano Open featuring The One Point Slam is a three-day pickleball tournament taking place May 1–3 at Fairgrounds Capilano mall in Vancouver.
The event is open to all skill levels, from beginner to pro.
Agenda:
Friday opens with men's and women's singles, as well as seniors doubles.
Saturday features men's and women's doubles, plus our flagship event — the One Point Slam, where every match is decided by a single point. The winning team takes home a week-long all-inclusive vacation to Mexico, courtesy of our incredible sponsor, Club Med!
Sunday wraps up the weekend with mixed doubles in the morning, followed by junior and beginner round robins in the evening.
Prizing:
Prizes include a Club Med vacation to Mexico or Punta Cana for the One Point Slam winner, $400–$800 cash prizes for the pro division, and Fairgrounds prize packs for all other event winners.
Activations:
We'll also have activations from Celsius Energy Drinks and more vendors on site — think music, vibes, and prizes. All events are DUPR sanctioned.
