RATING ELIGIBILITY
• No playing down.
• A player may play up one division only when the player's verified DUPR is within 0.5 of the minimum rating for the higher division.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
• Round robin: 1 game to 11, win by 2.
• Semifinals: 1 game to 15, win by 2.
• Bronze medal match: 1 game to 15, win by 2.
• Championship final: best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2.
The goal is at least 4 guaranteed games per team when practical. Tournament management may adjust formats or playoff structures based on division size and scheduling needs.
SESSION ORDER
• Men's divisions play in the morning beginning at 8:00 AM.
• Women's divisions follow the men's divisions.
• Moneyball begins only after all regular divisions have finished.
OPEN 4.5+ MONEYBALL
• Open doubles; any gender pairing.
• Players rated within 0.5 of 4.5 may play up.
• Additional $25 per player.
• No earlier than 3:00 PM and no later than 6:00 PM.
• Maximum 12 teams; minimum 6 teams required to run.
• Play may continue until 9:00 PM.
MONEYBALL PURSE & PAYOUTS
• $400 guaranteed purse once 6 fully paid teams are registered.
• Each additional paid team adds $50, up to a $700 purse with 12 teams.
• Gold receives 70%; silver receives 30%.
• Bronze receives a medal but no cash payout.
• Final purse is based on fully paid teams at registration close.
• If fewer than 6 teams register, the division will be canceled and the $25 Moneyball event surcharge refunded.
• Withdrawals after the applicable refund deadline do not reduce the announced guaranteed purse.
