🟧 Just 20 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD – The Rally is a secret gem for Melbourne’s pickleball community with 6 pristine orange courts perfectly made to debut The Dink Series.
🟧 Run by James Thurston, the previous owner of Melbourne Pickle Club, this event brings organised and experienced energy.
🟧 Say goodbye to delayed tournaments, small pools, rally scaring, unknown start times and annoying technology. Say hello to a well-run professional DUPR tournament with a minimum of 5 games.
🟧 5-9 games to 11, minimum
Format:
8-11:30am: 4.00+
11:30-3pm: 3.00-3.49
3-6:30pm: <3.00
6:30-10pm: 3.50-3.99
🟧 All divisions are COED (male and female teams in any combination)
🟧 EACH DIVISION: 18 doubles teams split into 3 simultaneous pools
🟧 POOL ALLOCATIONS: Each category will be split into a higher, middle and lower pool based on DUPR - this ensures quality opponents and fair DUPR expectation for each team.
🟧 ROUND ROBIN: MINIMUM OF 5 GAMES TO 11 for all teams (play every other team)
🟧 FINALS: SEMIFINALS and FINALS for each pool.
🟧 KNOCKOUT: Pool winners (and the fourth best team) will enter into a semifinals and grand-finals to produce a championship winner – the top team of all 36 players.
ARRIVAL TIME:
🟧 MINIMUM 30 MINUTES PRIOR
🟧 If you miss your start time, you will automatically forfeit the first game regardless of whether there was time to play it or not.
