The North Cowichan Pickleball Club presents the 1st Fall Ball pickleball tournament, from September 27-28, 2025 at the Cowichan Sportsplex Weyerhaeuser Thunderbox outdoor courts. A portion of the proceeds from this tournament will be donated to the Cowichan Sportsplex.

REGISTRATION

Registration opens August 27, 2025, 8:00 am PST

Enter as a team and ensure that your partner registers and pays within 7 days of you registering. If a partner has not completed his/her registration within 7 days of the first partner registering, the team will be moved to the waitlist. When the identified partner registers and pays, the team will be moved from the waitlist back to the active list if a slot is available.

If you do not have a partner you can click on “Players Needing a Partner” to possibly find one.

BEFORE YOU REGISTER

To register for this tournament you must have a Pickleball Tournaments account AND a DUPR account. First event is $65, second event is an additional $15. Payable through Stripe only via Pickleball Brackets.

Results from this tournament will be uploaded to players' DUPR profiles.

EQUIPMENT & CLOTHING

Paddles must be USAPA approved. Check the list of approved paddles at: https://equipment.usapickleball.org/paddle-list/

Protective eyewear is MANDATORY!

If a player is wearing clothing or is playing with a paddle the same colour as the ball, he/she may be asked by the tournament director to change.

Tournament Ball: Franklin X-40 (yellow)

Registrants withdrawing before September 20th 2025, 9:00 p.m. will be refunded registration & event fees minus the service and administration fees charged by Pickleball Tournaments and Stripe.

NO refunds for any reason after September 20th, 2025, 9:00 p.m.

If there is inclement weather, the tournament committee will attempt to re-locate to a nearby indoor facility, or if possible, adjust play times in order to get matches completed at the originally planned outdoor location.

The tournament director and organizing committee reserve the right to revise schedules to allow for evening play or to reschedule events for the rain-out day.

Cancellation is possible due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances during the tournament. In the case of inclement weather or other unforeseen issues on September 27th and 28th that prevent play. Only those participants who did not play in ANY event will be refunded their registration & event fees, minus the service and administration fees.
