<strong>Team Competition (Saturday late afternoon):</strong>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">While full teams from a country or club are highly encouraged, individual players are also welcome. If you or your team are interested in participating, please send an email to pickleballhuahin@gmail.com. Full teams should confirm their participation, and individual players without a team can express their willingness to join the team event. We will do our best to match you with teammates. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet and play with new friends!</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">There will be </span><strong>two categories</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> for the team competition:<br /></span><strong>- 3.5 and under<br /></strong><strong>- Above 3.5</strong>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Teams consist of 4 players per match—2 women and 2 men—from a squad of up to 6 players.<br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The order of play is as follows:</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">1. Women’s Doubles<br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">2. Men’s Doubles<br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">3. 1st Mixed Doubles<br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">4. 2nd Mixed Doubles</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Rally scoring will be used, with the first team to reach 21 points, similar to MLP (Major League Pickleball) style play. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the event of a tie, the </span><strong>Dreambreaker</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> will be used to determine the match winner.</span>
