After an incredible year of tournaments, we are closing the season with our most complete event yet: more games, more playoffs, more value, and a premium tournament experience from start to finish.
EVERYONE PLAYS PLAYOFFS
One of the biggest changes for The Finalissima is simple:
Every team will advance to the playoff stage.
Round-robin play will determine playoff seeding, but your tournament does not end after the group stage.
Depending on the number of teams in each division, playoffs may begin with:
Quarterfinals
Preliminary / play-in rounds
Semifinals
Gold and Bronze medal matches
Our goal is to give players more meaningful matches and more opportunities to compete for the podium.
EVENT FORMAT:
Most divisions will feature:
Round-robin group play
Games to 15, win by 2
Multiple guaranteed matches
Every team advancing to playoffs
Quarterfinals where applicable
Semifinals
Gold and Bronze medal matches
Championship finals played best 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2
Exact formats may vary slightly depending on the final number of registered teams in each division.
DUPR RATED + DUPR GATED:
The Finalissima will be a DUPR-rated and DUPR-gated tournament.
Players must have an active DUPR account connected to PickleballTournaments.com and register in the appropriate division based on their rating.

The Finalissima will take place at The District Padel & Pickleball, offering a premium setting for our biggest tournament of the year.
