Get your paddles ready for The Frozen Pickle—the coolest pickleball tournament of the year and the very first to be played on our brand-new, state-of-the-art, professional courts! We’ve put in the work to bring you the ultimate pickleball experience, and now it’s time to break them in with a weekend of thrilling competition and frosty fun.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:

Saturday, December 28, 2024 – Men's Doubles & Women's Doubles

Sunday, December 29, 2024 – Mixed Doubles

FORMAT:

We’re serving up four guaranteed matches minimum in a round robin format. The top teams will advance to the single-elimination bracket, where things really heat up! Games to 15, win by two. It’s all about fast-paced, competitive play—and lots of fun along the way!

If there aren't enough teams in a division, we’ll mix things up by combining age divisions first, then skill divisions to ensure everyone gets in on the action.

DUPR rankings will be updated for all matches played, so you can show off your Frozen Pickle success!

Registration opens November 4, 2024, and closes December 26, 2024—don’t wait, spots are limited and the t-shirt cutoff is real!

A $10 late registration fee begins December 21, one week prior to the tournament.

IMPORTANT:

DUPR is now the official rating system of Pickleballbrackets.com, and a linked DUPR account is required to sign up for the tournament. If you attempt to sign up without linking a DUPR account, you will receive an error message. This is a requirement and must be done by the player—unfortunately, we cannot control or assist with linking DUPR accounts.

Let’s kick off the holidays with some epic rallies, cold-weather camaraderie, and pickleball magic!

3 or less teams will be combined with another group

4 Teams = Double Round Robin, games 1 to 15, win by 2

5 Teams = Single Round Robin, games 2/3 to 11, win by 2

6-8 Teams = Single Round Robin, games 1 to 15, win by 2

9 Teams = Single Round Robin, games 1 to 11, win by 2

10 or more teams = Split into 2 pools with top 2 of each pool advancing to medal playoff. All matches will be 1 to 15, win by 2 in round robin and playoff

OPEN Division Gold Medal matches will be refereed

If you withdraw before December 22, 2024, you will receive a refund minus the non-refundable PickleballBrackets.com service fee.

No refunds will be issued for withdrawals made after December 22, 2024 (Midnight).

Compete for your share of a $1,000 prize pool (subject to change based on final registration numbers—prizes may increase or decrease accordingly).

The payout breakdown is as follows:

Gold Medalists take home 50% of the total prize

Silver Medalists receive 30%

Bronze Medalists earn 20%

All prize money will be split equally among teammates.

All 20 courts are located in a climate-controlled indoor facility, ensuring a comfortable, heated environment for optimal play, no matter the weather outside.

First aid kits, AEDs, and wheelchairs will be readily available on-site for minor injuries, and for more serious concerns, an Urgent Care facility is conveniently located just across the street.
