Greenhills Country Club is very excited to host our third edition of The GOAT Fall Open. With eight dedicated pickleball courts and eight temporary courts; the tournament promises to be great competition for all levels along with a place for all players to enjoy. Get ready for an unforgettable tournament filled with camaraderie and amazing pickleball action!
EARLY BIRD discounted registration fee $65 ends July 15th. Registration fee increases to $75 beginning July 16th.
No medals will be awarded.
This will be a skill/age event broken into 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 & Pro skill levels and different age levels. We will run
Singles, One Point Slam, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles as well as Mixed Doubles events. There will also be split-age events for 4.0-, 4.0+, 4.5+ and PRO. In a split-age event, one partner must be 50+ and the other below 50 as of December 31, 2026.
Events will be combined; when necessary, skill will be combined before age. In case of merging/splitting/cancelling events, players will be contacted. The format for amateur & split-age events will be pool round robins followed by a medal round. PRO events (excluding split-age) will be run using double elimination format. No event will run with less than 4 teams. You will be guaranteed at least 4 games in each event; except for PRO double elimination events; where we guarantee 3 games.
We will be playing with the Franklin X40 ball. Play will be on indoor professional hardcourt surface; 8 dedicated, individually fenced pickleball courts with permanent nets in addition to 8 spacious and well spaced and separated taped courts with temporary nets.
Schedule:
-Thursday Sep 17th: Skill based 50+ events and Singles events in the evening, singles one-point slam.
-Friday Sep 18th: Start with split-age WD events in the morning, then split-age MXD events in the afternoon and finish with split-age MD events in the early evening, doubles one point slam.
-Saturday Sep 19th: All gender events for 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and Pro levels.
-Sunday Sep 20th: All MXD events for 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and Pro levels.
Your spot is not guaranteed in the event until both partners are registered and paid in full within 7 days of initial registration.
IMPORTANT: DUPR updates almost in real-time. The tournament uses DUPR rating AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.
The tournament director reserves the right to move players between levels to ensure the most competitive
experience for all athletes. All scores will be automatically reported to DUPR.
