Registration runs through pickleballbrackets.com, and every player signs up and pays individually. Paying secures your spot in the main draw — but the spot only holds if both partners complete registration and payment within 5 days. Incomplete teams move to the wait-list.
We don't match players with partners. If you're looking for one, browse the player list or use the Find a Partner tab to reach out directly.
Rating Requirements
Entry is governed by your DUPR. No DUPR on file? The system defaults to your pickleballbrackets.com self-rating.
Play at your level or above. ex. A 3.5 cannot drop into the 3.0 bracket. If a division won't let you register, check your DUPR or self-rating first — that's almost always the reason.
Play up by no more than 0.5. To keep brackets honest, at least one partner must be within 0.5 of the bracket's rating. A 3.5 may enter 3.5 or 4.0, and no higher. We reserve the right to remove teams that don't meet this.
5.0/open pro requires at least one partner at 4.5 DUPR or above.
Think your DUPR is wrong? That's between you and DUPR — reach out to them directly, as we can't adjust ratings on our end.
On Court
Surface: indoor hard court
Official ball: Franklin X-40
Rules: USAP rulebook
Paddles: must appear on the USAP or UPA approved list
Officiating: referees assigned to select matches (TBD). If a line call can't be resolved between teams, either side may request a line judge for the balance of the match.
Format — Amateur Divisions
Traditional scoring. Every team is guaranteed four matches.
Pool play games run to 15, win by 1:
Bracket size:
4 Teams: 1 Pool. All teams advance to playoffs.
5 Teams: 1 Pool. Top 4 advanced to playoffs
6-7 Teams: 1 pool Top 4 teams advance to playoffs.
8 Teams: 2 Pools. All teams advance to playoffs.
10-14 Teams: 2 pools. Top 2 teams from each pool advance to playoffs.
15 Teams: Divisions split into 3 pools. Top 2 teams from each pool advance to playoffs.
16 Teams: Split into 4 pools all teams advance to playoffs.
17-20 Teams: Divisions split into 4 pools. . Top 2 teams from each pool advance to playoffs.
PLAYOFFS: If you advance to the playoffs your seeding is based on your results from the round robin.
Games to 15 win by 2
Medal Matches:
Gold Medal Matches: Best 2 out of 3 games to 11 (win by 2).
Bronze Medal Matches: 1 game to 15 (win by 2).
Scheduling
Start times post one week out, once registration numbers are set. Players get an email the moment they're live.
The Fine Print
Formats above may be adjusted. The Tournament Director may combine brackets or expand fields to protect quality of play. Registration can close at any point once daily capacity is reached — even if individual events still show openings.
