Join us for a fun fixed partner, round robin style amateur to intermediate tournament. Cash to the top team in each bracket. Additional prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. This fundraiser tournament benefits the Rio Linda Bible Quizzing Team. This will be a fun casual tournament, where you can meet new players, test your skills, and have a lot of fun.
This is a non-sanctioned outdoor tournament with skill divisions in Co-ed Doubles. There will be a beginner level 2.0-3.0 and an intermediate level 3.0-4.0 bracket. Tournament matches will take place on 4 pickleball courts with multi sport lines and temporary nets. This tournament is a FIXED-PARTNER ROUND ROBIN style event geared to reward top place finishers with cash and other prizes.
Registration is $35 per event per player for early registration. Late registration will increase by $10.
Cash prizes will be dependent on bracket sizes.
Round Robin: Games to 11, win by 2, switch sides at 6 points. If a tie exists at the completion of the bracket, head to head matchups and then points won will be used to determine finish placement.
Playoffs: Top 2 teams of each pool at the end of pool play will move on to playoffs. All playoff matches are best 2 out of 3, games to 11 win by 2. Winners in the semi-final move on to the gold medal match, losers of the semi-final will play for bronze. The medal matches are best 2 out of 3, games to 11 win by 2.
Timeouts: Games to 11 - 1 time out per team.
