Come join the frightening fun at The Monster Smash at Hot Springs Health and Fitness!

This two-day weekend event features women's, men's, and mixed doubles in up to 3 age divisions and 5 skill level divisions for each. While some age and skill levels may consolidate if there aren't enough teams for any event, medals are guaranteed for any event that includes signed up players!

Skill levels are the following: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+.

Age divisions are the following: 10-39, 40-59, and 60+.

The format is a round robin (broken up into pools if signed up players is large), with the top 4 teams advancing to a bracket (1v4 and 2v3, winners to gold medal match and losers to bronze medal match). All games are to 15 and win by 2, with switching sides of the court when the first team reaches 8 points.  

There are no referees. Matches are self-monitored. If a referee is requested, we will do our best to provide one.

Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.

-A full refund will be processed within 72 hours of signup and not more than 14 days from the event date.

-A half refund will be processed after 72 hours and before 2 weeks of signup, as well as not more than 14 days from the event date.

-No refunds will be processed after 2 weeks of signup or within 2 weeks of the event date.

-Bad weather or emergency reschedule dates are November 2nd and 3rd, 2024. A decision on whether to host play for each day will be made by 8PM of the night before.

-If there is a need to reschedule events due to bad weather or emergency, these dates will be used to complete any unfinished events. If any events cannot be completed by the end of November 3rd, a full refund will be processed for the events that did not take place. If players are unable to participate in any events due to both the normal and reschedule dates being bad weather or emergency, a full refund will be applied for the entire tournament.
