Come join the frightening fun at The Monster Smash at Hot Springs Health and Fitness!

Food, drinks, and music will be available onsite! This is a fundraising event for an ice machine/water dispenser for our outdoor courts. We will be featuring raffles, silent auctions, and giveaways!

This two-day weekend event features women's, men's, and mixed doubles. The format is a round robin play with single elimination bracket play afterwards. All round robin and pre-medal match games are to 15 and win by 2, with switching sides of the court when the first team reaches 8 points.  Medal matches (gold and bronze) are played best 2 out of 3 to 11.

Skill levels are the following: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+.

Age divisions are the following: 49 and Under, 50 and Above, and Any (for OPEN). While HSHF reserves the right to consolidate age and skill levels if there aren't enough teams for any event, medals will be provided for lower skill levels and older age divisions that consolidate with higher skill levels and younger age divisions (respectively) upon request.

There are no referees. Matches are self-monitored. If a referee is requested, we will do our best to provide one.

Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.

Early bird registration fee is $30 for HSHF members and $50 for non-members.

Normal registration fee is $45 for HSHF members and $65 for non-members.

Final deadline registration fee is $55 for HSHF members and $75 for non-members.

All registration fees include 1 free event. Playing an additional event costs $10.

Pickleballtournaments.com charges a separate service fee of $5 per event (capped at $10 per person).

To receive the HSHF member discount, players must be linked to the Hot Springs Health and Fitness club on Pickleball.com. Check your linked organizations on your dashboard. Add Hot Springs Health and Fitness or contact Jen T Morgan or Mario Scheri to be added. A refund (minus $5 processing fee) will be processed if this is not completed beforehand.

Refunds for withdrawals (minus a $10 processing fee) will be processed up until the final day of registration.

No refunds for withdrawals will be processed after registration closes.

Refunds for weather will be processed according to the weather policy.

Refunds will be processed after the conclusion of the tournament.

-Bad weather or emergency reschedule dates are October 25th and 26th 2025. A decision on whether to host play for each day will be made by 6 AM each day.

-If there is a need to reschedule events due to bad weather or emergency, the backup dates will be used to complete any unfinished events. If any events cannot be completed by the end of October 26th, a full refund (minus a $10 processing fee) will be processed for the events that did not take place. If players are unable to participate in any events due to both the normal and reschedule dates being bad weather or any conditions unsuitable for outside play, a full refund (minus a $10 processing fee) will be applied for the entire tournament.

By registering for this tournament, all players agree to the Guest Pass waiver and are treated as a guest of Hot Springs Health and Fitness for general liability purposes.
