This event is open to all players with events broken down by skill level and gender. Formatting includes round-robin play with playoff brackets to follow. Players competing in any Open or Moneyball Divisions will play for cash prizes. See below for more details.

Registration Rates – $25 to register for the tournament + a per event fee ($95 to compete in the Open or Moneyball Divisions, $45 for all other events).

Schedule – Singles and Split Age Events will take place on the afternoon/evening of Friday, September 19. Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles on Saturday, September 20. Mixed Doubles will take place on Sunday, September 21. This tournament will be held at both Boston Pickle Club Locations. You will be notified which location you will play at when registration closes. Norwell will be our main site. We will only use Hyde Park if we sell out in Norwell.

Format – there is a 5 game guarantee in place; single game round-robin matches played to 11 or 15, win by 2 for all events. Gold medal matches will typically be a best 2/3 series. All Scores will be entered into DUPR.

This is the first leg of the New England Pickleball Tournament Series at Boston Pickle Club. The Series will be a year-long competition comprising 6 major tournaments at BPC. Players will not only compete for wins at each individual tournament, but they will also look to earn points toward the Series title. Late Show up/cancellation policy:

10 mins late = loss of toss

15 mins late = start the game down 6 (in a game to 11) or 8 (in a game to 15)

15-30 mins late = loss of first game

Later than 30 minutes = scratched from tournament

Defaults:

If someone defaults or withdraws from the tournament, all previous matches stand, all future matches are listed as "defaults"

Withdrawals:

If you withdraw within 2 hours of start time, you will be charged an administrative fee of $50

A full refund will be made available to participants withdrawing up to 10 days prior to the posted start date for the selected event. Withdrawals within 10 days of the posted start date will not receive a refund. Events that have a change in date prior to the posted start date will have a full credit available to all participants.

A refund is an amount processed back to the individual customers credit card. A credit is held for future use towards an event of your choosing with no expiration date.

Players submitting registration without a partner will receive a refund towards a future event should a partner not be located prior to the start of the event.

Players changing partners within 10 days of the event start date will need to have the new player complete registration, and payment, in order for the new player to participate. The player being removed will be refunded once payment for the new player has registered and paid, less a $15 administrative processing fee. If BPC has to locate a partner to fill a void, there will be no credit value available to the player withdrawing within 10 days of the event start date.

The $5 processing fee taken at checkout is non-refundable on ALL registrations, including those withdrawing 10 days or more in advance.

ONLY for the "Open" or "Moneyball" Divisions. The Open and Divisions are open to teams of any level who want a shot at winning the cash prize. Moneyball Divisions are for a specific level, but will still have prize money. 50% of the registration fees will be put into the pot for the medalists to split. Prize money will only be paid out if the event reaches capacity of 14 teams.

Players competing in the cash prize divisions will also earn points toward a year long series.

Gold - 50% of prize pool

Silver - 35% of prize pool

Bronze - 15% of prize pool
