Welcome to Real Pickleball in Guelph!
We are thrilled to run our Spring Class Pickleball tournament. Our facility offers 10 professional pickleball courts; well spaced and individually fenced.
This will be a skill/age tournament with 19+, 35+, 50+ and 60+ age categories for the 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 skill levels. You can play up to 2 events. Tournament director reserves the right to combine/split brackets and change format based on participation numbers. The base registration fee is $60 with an early bird discount of $5 if you register before March 1st. Registration per event is $15. Your spot is not guaranteed until both partnered are registered and paid in full. Your team has 5 days to register before being automatically moved to the waiting list. Maximum 8 teams per divisions. Minimum 3 games guaranteed, but we will do our best to increase number of games depending on number of participating teams in the bracket.
This is a weekend only tournament. Saturday March 21st is for Men/Women doubles, while Sunday March 22nd will be Mixed doubles.
This is a DUPR rated tournament. You must have a linked DUPR account to participate. DUPR is used to determine the minimum skill level you can play in. You are allowed to play up, but not down.
DUPR up to 3.49 is considered a 3.0 player. DUPR between 3.5 & 3.99 is considered a 3.5 player & so on.
The tournament follows USAPA rules. The goal is to have all medal matches refereed as well as some of the other matches pending referees availability.
The format for all categories will be pool round robin and the top teams in each pool qualify to playoffs round to determine medal winners. All games, except for the final match will be out of 15 win by 2. If we end up with a pool of 6/7 teams, then the games will be out of 11 win by 2. Gold medal match is best 2 out of 3 to 11 win by 2.
Planned start time for each day is 8am. Final start times for each event will be determined and shared few days before the tournament.
