Combining Events with Limited Participation:
Events with three or fewer teams or singles players will initially be combined with age-groups sharing the same "rating."
For example, if there's only one team in the 3.0, 10-34 age bracket, and five teams in the 3.0, 35-54 age bracket, these two brackets will be merged, resulting in a total of six teams in that pool.
Consideration for Different Ratings:
If the need arises to combine different ratings after consolidating age groups of the same rating, we will reach out to the affected teams.
It's important to note that we will not automatically move a team up a rating level without prior approval from the team concerned.
Ensuring Sufficient Gameplay:
Our primary objective is to ensure that all teams participate in at least four games within their pool.
In instances where there are four teams or fewer, a double round-robin pool will be organized to maximize gameplay opportunities for all participants.
We hope this clarification alleviates concerns and underscores our commitment to delivering a fair and enjoyable tournament experience for everyone involved.
