Tournament Directors Bill Hess and Jim Young would like to invite you to the 2024 USA Pickleball Atlantic South Regional Pickleball Tournament which will be moving to the Macon Mall Pickleball Facility in Macon, Georgia. This beautiful new indoor facility features thirty-two, dedicated, well lit, individually fenced courts.

As a player, you will be a guest of the facility and be allowed to use the courts outside of the tournament playing times or at the direction of the tournament director.

Wheelchair Coed Singles - played mid to late afternoon, Friday, January 12.

Wheelchair Coed Doubles - played mid-morning, Saturday, January 13.

Wheelchair Hybrid Coed Doubles - played mid to late afternoon, Saturday, January 13. (1 Chair & 1 Standing) - Standing players welcome to sign up, no partner needed, partner will be chosen for first match. After each match standing players will rotate to another court. Winners are determined based on total points scored.

If you wish to play in any of these events and have questions or problems registering, please contact tournament. You can play in any or all of these events. $50 Discount Code available to wheelchair participants only upon request, no event fees in wheelchair events.

January 9, 10, and 11, 2024 will be for players age groups 60+ and up, January 12, 13, and 14, 2024 will be for players age groups 55+ and below. This format should allow us to get more players involved and still finish each day at a reasonable time.

The first day of each age bracket will be men's doubles and women's singles, with mixed doubles on the second day and woman's doubles and men's singles the third day of each three-day set.

The 2024 USA Pickleball Rulebook will be followed to decide the winners in round robin and single and double elimination brackets.

We will be using a round robin format for all brackets, if possible, pool play will used in brackets consisting of 10 or more teams. Based on bracket counts, matches will be 1 to 15 or 1 to 11 win by 2. If pools are used, the top two teams will advance to a single elimination playoff for the championship.

We will be using the new USA pickleball age brackets:

Jr.'s, 8-29, 30+, 40+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+

**NOTE** Your team must be completed within 72 hours of initial registration, or you will be automatically transferred to waiting list until team is complete with both partners registered and both paid in full. Once you have completely registered and paid for both partners and if the bracket or day is not full, you will be moved off the waiting list into the active bracket.

If an event is full, you may still enter, and you will be moved to the waitlist. If we have an opening, you will be moved into the active bracket. If you do not play in the tournament because the bracket was full, we will refund your registration fee minus an administrative fee.

Skill levels are based on UTPR, WPR, Pickleball Brackets rating. If none are available, the system will use self-rated. This is a sanctioned tournament; all skill levels will be furnished through USA Pickleball.

The tournament director reserves the right to modify bracket formats depending on bracket size and total events that day. Medals will be awarded for the skill/age event you registered for, even if there are combined brackets. Combined bracket formats will be "Round Robin" if possible.

Registration fee is $90.00. Event cost is $5.00 each. You will receive a confirmation email when you register and pay. Please double check that you are in your proper age / skill bracket. You and your partner for doubles events must both be registered and paid to be in the tournament.

The Tournament Director has the option to change the format as needed to accommodate play.

You may play in either age bracket above 60 or below 60 (55+ and below), but in only one bracket. For example, if you play in Women's Doubles 60+, you could not play in Women's Doubles under 60. You could play in Mixed Doubles 55+ and lower but not also Mixed Doubles 60+, etc.

We are working on hotel rates, see below for the hotels with which we currently have an arrangement.

All players registering will have 72 hours to complete your registration which includes your partners complete registration and payment. If you team is not completely registered and paid within that time you will be automatically moved to the wait list. If your team completes and a slot is available and the day is not closed due to time constraints, you will be moved back into the bracket.

Withdrawal from tournament prior to December 25, 2023, will result in a full refund less $5 administration fee and the associated Pickleball Brackets Fee. Pickleball Bracket Fees are non-refundable. After the cancellation date of 12/25/23 refunds will be at the discretion of the tournament directors with a minimum administrative fee of $20.00 plus the associated Pickleball Brackets fee which is non-refundable..

Refunds will not be issued until after the tournament has concluded, January 14, 2024. All refunds will be issued by January 31, 2024.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY - Although all 32 courts are indoors, you must still be able to drive to the tournament. If weather is a factor, we will do all we can to play matches. There will be up to a 50% refund for weather or other cancellations.
